Firmware update for ICOM IC-705
The new firmware version 1.40 for the ICOM IC-705 is now available and brings significant improvements to your device. The most important new features include:
  • Improved repeater lists: Your lists are now imported more smoothly, and the existing order is retained.
  • Intuitive repeater search: With the “Near Repeater Search” function, you can now quickly select other nearby repeaters using the rotary knob after the initial search.
  • Optimized image data exchange: The “Share Pictures” function now features a percentage progress bar and displays the blocks received.
  • Acoustic feedback: A beep now confirms the end of transmission with the DV Fast Data function.
  • Advanced options: A new setting has been added to the Digital Repeater Set function.
  • More accurate distance display: The display on the GPS position screen has been redesigned and shows distances from less than 1 km to less than 10 km in greater detail.

Firmware update for AT-D878UV/AT-D878UVII
We are pleased to announce that the new firmware update V4.00 is now available for your AT-D878UV/AT-D878UVII. This update includes all features of previous versions since V3.04. Please note an important change: Due to reports of devices freezing with the V3.08N firmware, the satellite function had to be removed in V4.00. This was necessary because there was not enough memory available to ensure error-free use of the function. If you still need the satellite function and are not experiencing any problems with version V3.08N, you can of course continue to use it.
