The new ICOM IC-7300MK2
ICOM unveiled the IC-7300MK2, the logical evolution of one of the most popular transceivers of all time, at the Tokyo Ham Fair. With this model, ICOM introduces numerous improvements that make operation even more convenient and efficient.

The IC-7300MK2 features an integrated CW decoder and the option of connecting an external monitor. The new LAN interface allows the device to be used directly for remote operation with the RS-BA1 software without the need for an additional computer. In addition, modern SMA and USB-C connections are available, expanding the transceiver's range of applications.

The new version also impresses with its technical features: improvements in RMDR and phase noise suppression ensure even clearer signals, while power consumption in receive mode has been reduced by 23 percent. Thanks to lower heat generation, the device also operates more reliably and has a longer service life.

With the IC-7300MK2, ICOM is setting a new standard in the entry-level compact SDR transceiver segment and demonstrating how proven technology can be combined with forward-looking innovations.
