The Diamond System has the perfect solution

A major challenge with mobile phone mounting is often the installation itself: who wants to drill a hole in their car’s body? The Japanese company Diamond is known for its outstanding quality, but the true secret to its success lies in an impressively coherent overall concept. The combination of innovative mounting options, specialized cables, and well-designed accessory solutions is what makes the Diamond system so unique, versatile, and easy to use. Here, Diamond offers a range of solutions that cause no permanent damage. From sturdy clamps for roof rails to special mounts for the tailgate, there’s something for every type of vehicle. Even flexible adhesive mounts allow for secure attachment to glass or the vehicle body, which can be removed without leaving any residue if necessary. Particularly noteworthy is the intelligent cable system, which makes routing cables into the interior easier than ever before. You get low-loss signal transmission without having to modify your vehicle. This concept is rounded out by a huge selection of antennas for every need.

Did you know that in the 1920s, the first mobile amateur radio operators often turned their vehicles into rolling “clotheslines”? Since the technology of the time relied on much longer wavelengths, these pioneers mounted huge, square wooden frame antennas on the roof that were almost as big as the car itself. While they could transmit, they had to worry about their entire setup (and the car’s roof) every time they passed under a low bridge or a telegraph line.
